Learn Autodesk Inventor 2018 Basics - 3D Modeling, 2D Graphics, and Assembly Design by T. Kishore
Official Tutorial Guide

How to get it

The policy of the Autodesk company is to provide students and academic personal with free-of-charge 3-year licenses of all their products. These includes Autodesk Inventor and Fusion 360, both fully featured CAD and CAM environments.

To get a license of your product, you need to register yourself on the Autodesk homepage. During the registration, you have to use an email-address which has been provided by the Otto-von-Guericke-University, such as max.mensch@st.ovgu.de or janiga@ovgu.de. When your registration has been confirmed, you can download a program of choice. Often the software is only available in English. Sometimes two, three other languages are available, too.

Explaining Inbuilt Tutorials

When opening Autodesk Inventor the first time, it will guide you to the inbuilt tutorials. These are pretty guide by themself. Moreover, these tutorials are interactively connected to the user interface. This feature will help you locate required functions yourself to learn the workflow on-the-fly.
